What is the process?
Initially, a designer will come to your home to measure the existing room. We guarantee our dimensions if we measure. We come up with some ideas based on your needs, desires and budget. You will be surprised with our abilities to think “outside the box”, creating beautiful custom rooms far more efficient than the existing. After some feedback, the plans get adjusted and priced. This is a long and creative process by experienced, well educated designers, so we don’t give away our plans without a design retainer, but we want you to be comfortable with the product, service and price, so a bid is in order. Your experience with us will speak for itself. Design retainers are applied toward the purchase of cabinets, so design service is essentially free. This is standard in the industry. (Those who give away their work don’t put the same kind of time in and don’t have the same level of ability.) Besides time, a sample door must be ordered for your approval. Clients will sign off on the plans before anything is ordered as well as the door sample signed off on. The door is sent back to the company to assure everyone’s on the same page.
Once the order is processed, a delivery date is given and we can begin scheduling.
We can recommend solid subcontractors for you to save a little (or maybe a lot!) by working directly with them. They still answer to us since we are the repeat referral for them to get further work. Many clients already have their own connections, so a plan that’s defined makes it easy for them to get a bid to you.
